Mark,
Stay focused on the supply chain-leadership is not a career and what you want to market is your career abilities and value. You LI profile is good, with your lead TAG line and then concentration on the supply chain aspects. It is important to understand when folks are looking for candidates, they are looking a filling a position, not looking at a person then attempting to see what position may fit them. That would be nice, but even in this tight job market that just does not happen. Focus your experience on those keywords you see in job postings for positions that you feel would meet your needs. While the military spends years making leaders flexible and creating diverse skills sets, it is not how civilians start a work relationship-use their key words. Keep in mind the average 30 year old has had 3 new positions already and may be working on their 4th, each one with more money and more responsibility-so the market is full of young job seekers who know how to market themselves. Take a peak at Marc Broc, MA, PMP profile he focuses on a career and after 20++ years and a rank of E-9 he could of chosen a variety of careers. Michael Quinn, E & Y does periodic webinars on using LinkedIn to market yourself, these are free and off a ton of information. Thank you for your service and God Bless.

Take a look at the utility company there. They could always use a Vet/Hard worker/non drug alcohol problems/
in Procurement/Contracts/Supply Chain.
