I have an invention, where may I find investors?

Veteran

DONALD EAKER Apopka , FL

My invention (iSTYX) is copyrighted and patent is being considered. It has been evaluated by Lambert & Lambert and received an 84 out of a possible 107, however, they did not want to pursue my invention to licensing or marketing, even though it has "merit".

You may want to check with your Chamber of Commerce. In Nashville, TN they have an office called the Entrepreneur Center. One of the programs is bringing entrepreneurs and investors together

You may want to check out www.tampa.tie.org, my friend Bruce Elliott is the Exec Director, be_8888@yahoo.com. They do hear presentations and if viable they may even provide seed funds or direct investments. There is a TIE Chapter in Orlando,FL also.

Have you checked out kickstarter.com? It's a website that allows individuals like you to collect capital from investors on the net. I have never posted anything, but I am fascinated by all the great ideas that people have. You should check it out.

Thank you for your response. I am not aware of "angel investor groups", but I will certainly do a search locally, and, if need be, a national search.

If it doesn't give away the cow, what does the product do or how does it serve? Either way, search for local angel investor groups, but when local fails look for angel groups that have an affinity for your invention's industry.
