The nonprofit is called Steadfast HOPE. The mission is to Encourage and Equip Men and Families to Enjoy a Healthier Lifestyle. I started this nonprofit because I saw a need and because I have a rare autoimmune disease called Aplastic Anemia.
I started early this year and we are officially a 501c3 tax exempt organization. I need help with creating assessment (e.g. physical, spiritual, emotional, financial health). I created a website and need help to figure out what platform to add to collect donations as well as how to write a legal donation receipt. I would like help organizing the nonprofit structure, creating forms, and anything that will help me reach the men of the community. I have a lot of work which is taxing but I know the end will be rewarding. Any help, direction, and/or advice would be appreciated.
Also, we are partnering with other nonprofits that reach women and other areas that we are not pursuing so that we can help both men and women to find those who can better assist them.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Mr. Rasmussen,
I would suggest some networking. You can look up either local or national nonprofits and call or email. I had worked for a United Way organization when I lived in Michigan and all of our directors were very open to talking to members of the community about our activities and how we ran them. Their are many organizations depending on where you live that may be very small 1-10 employees (some food banks or churches) or slightly larger. You can volunteer or just ask if you can shadow for a day and get to know their leadership and ask questions. If you look on Rocket Lawyer and Legal Zoom websites there are some nice write ups on how to start a nonprofit. They have it broken down into steps and there are many more articles out there. I'm sure you have done your reading however for me I am always the one that forgets to just Google it! I hope this helps and by the way that sounds like a great idea for your theme. I would be glad to become your first volunteer - have to checked out Team RWB? Stay safe and be well!
