What are the best ways to prepare for an investment banking interview?

Veteran

Dwayne Favorite Brooklyn , NY

What is the best way to network with individuals inside of investment banking/M&A?

What are things I can do now to standout being that I’m from a non-target school?

Interested in developing and expanding my network base in investment banking to prepare for the next step and to pay it forward.

Thank you for your service.

Sign up for M&A groups on LinkedIn, that will help your feed and networking. Check out outside organizations focusing on M&A. Specifically, target the large law firms that have M&A practices. They have many seminars (live-virtual) listed right on their sites. It can be great for networking and development.

Don’t let a non target school be a major concern. Focus on your experience and strategic path forward.

I hope this helps.

Glad to continue the dialogue....
