Hello, can anyone help me find a place to get a proto-type built?

Hello All, I need help finding someone that can build my proto-type for me. I have a small solar powered novelty invention that I need a proto-type for so that I can take it to the bank to get a startup loan. Thank you for your time.

First off, make sure you have your invention protected via the patent system. Otherwise someone in the prototype shop could try to patent it.
I think in St Louis there would be some specialty machine shops that might be able to help. In the Detroit area there are a few more know shops like Roush industries, Ricardo, ATV that do prototype work but I would expect them to be more costly.
Try a local machine shop first to help you.

My nephew owns a company that helps people with ideas to build their proto-types and get them started in the marketing arena. His facebook site is Elite Innovations, LLC...they are located in Wilmington, NC...so if you have a vacation coming up...you might want to head on out to the beaches of Wilmington, and talk to Andrew Williams for more detail about getting your proto-type created. He is also an ex-Marine...graduate of VMI (2006). So I am sure he will be willing to help a fellow Army Private out!! Good luck to you.
