I know that I am new to the IT career field, but I hope that my recently completed education with Covered 6 | Cyber Security Technician Program would make me an ideal candidate for the IT field as an entry-level Network Administrator. Do you think its too low or too high of a starting point?

I’d suggest that you network at the target company or industry. Use LinkedIn to find people already working there and reach out to them. Ask them the process they used to get hired and ask them to help you navigate the hiring process and if they are willing, ask them to submit you as a referral. These activities require much more time on your part but in my opinion would greatly increase your chances for success. Good luck!
Hi Richard,
Hope all is well.
instead of applying for an entry level position. Can you send me your resume? This way you can craft it for the appropriate level. Many firms do hire veterans. My email address is will.lukang@gmail.com.
Thanks,
Will Lukang
Hi Richard,
Based on your military experience, you are probably over-qualified for any entry-level position but it's a good place to start and get 'your foot in the door.' My company provides IT Staffing services and I would be glad to discuss your background and IT opportunities. Feel free to reach out to me.
