Offering products/services to nonprofits, schools, churches, and other organizations

Veteran

Eddie Starr Spokane , WA

I'm looking at a sales contracting position, and am looking for ideas of how to offer the services of the company to those listed in the subject.

The collective services is helping these various organizations with fundraising. Specifically, providing no upfront cost travel vouchers--Hawaii, American Music Awards, Super Bowl, London, Paris, and others--for these organizations to fundraise with, either via raffles, or (silent) auctions.

I'm looking for networking opportunities, to present what I do, to in turn help out these organizations with their fundraising. I've reached out to a few, but have had only minimal response back, so wanted to post here, and see what I get.

Eddie - I started off my management consulting practice by doing pro bono and then doing at least one pro bono gig a year. By doing pro bono then you develop your resume and in some instances you get a referral or the pro bono client hires you. It takes a lot - it is the sales funnel idea if searching for a pro bono client - but reach out to those non profits in your area - use the Book of Lists as a good start. Connect with me on LinkedIn.
