I have developed a product that I would describe as a sports novelty item, that can be produced for all major sports leagues. I have done some research and I could take the idea to a company who already has licensing agreements with the sports leagues, or I could attempt to manufacture them under a company of my own. The second option has potential to be much more lucrative, however is much more complicated and costly to implement. Any ideas or thoughts on how I could accomplish either avenue is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Larry,
The Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) at the University of Syracuse has a great program to help veterans/service members with entrepreneurial endeavors. At the very least, they can get you the expertise your need.
Message me if you're interested in my getting you in contact with someone at IVMF.
Thanks - John
Hi Larry,
I believe the Small Business Administration in your local community can provide you with some answers that might help with what you are trying to do. They are known to provide assistance in writing a business plan, securing loans, etc., things that are crucial to commercializing your product successfully. They might even have some connections with agencies that can help sell your products to established firms. Hope this help.
