Michael Fuller at First Financial specifically works with the military community looking for business funding through the SBA. He is also retired military and works with the TAP Boots to Business program to help the military community. You can email him at michael@mymilitary.loans. He helped me with my business start-up loan and his office made it as easy as a government backed loan can be. Let him know I referred you!
Best of luck!

Reach out to Don Buzzelli via linked in. Smart Guy, knows investing and especially the Veteran angle. May not be able to help directly but will have some thoughts.

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your service and for your question! I would recommend you browse the Small Business section of ACP AdvisorNet (https://acp-advisornet.org/questions/3361) which hosts a number of questions and many pieces of advice from advisors and veterans alike. I found this question about a veteran- https://acp-advisornet.org/questions/3361 to be particularly full of advice and resources.

I also recommend exploring the small business section of acp-usa.org, which can be found under the Resources tab. Beyond that, I’d encourage you to take a look at the resources linked below. They could prove valuable as you start filing the paperwork needed to open up a nail salon.

I hope this is helpful. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Megan
