Hello,
I am currently working on my Associates Degree in Information Technology and my Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology with Software Development. I am hoping to find a mentor in my area that can give me some guidance on learning, job search, the Atlanta market, and etc. If you are interested and willing to answer a few questions your assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Janelle

Hi Janelle - I commend you for wanting to be a programmer/developer. I almost went down that path during my first stint at college before I joined the Air Force.
Have you heard of Women Who Code? They have an Atlanta chapter where I'm sure you can find a mentor. Here is the link: https://www.womenwhocode.com/atlanta
Also, since you're in college now, ask your college administration to put you in touch with the alumni association. There has got to be a few programmers that came through the program just like you. I'm sure they would be delighted to mentor you.
One last suggestion: try LinkedIn. Run a search of developers and programmers in your area. Ask to connect with those people. Add a note to your invitation letting those professionals know you'd like to connect because you are seeking a mentor.
Best of luck in your pursuits.
