Dear Michael,

Cybersecurity is not my area of expertise, although I am very interested in the subject.

Many of the articles that I have read suggest that a better approach is to get whatever certificates you need to qualify for the position that you want. The basis for this approach is that there is such a shortage of cybersecurity specialists, it would very easy to be hired today, without a college degree.

Once hired, you can always complete your degree requirements while you are working. Consider the following email that I received from www.cybrary.it:
