I work as a case manager at Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship Foundation. One of our sentinels, who is currently enrolled at Columbia, is looking for a mentor as he decides whether he would like to pursue a graduate degree directly after finishing undergrad. He is interested in international economics and companies that make environmental ethics part of their core values; examples of such companies are Patagonia or The Method Co.
Thank you!

I am an economist, but I don't do any international work. I suggest reaching out to Nat'l Assn for Business Economics https://www.nabe.com/
Hi Danielle,
Thank you for reaching out on behalf of one of your sentinels. I have a two suggestions which might be helpful:
1. Using the "Community" page on AdvisorNet, either you or he can browse for Advisors by Company name to see if there are any Advisors who work for one of his target companies. There is also an option to browse by industry to open up the pool.
2. If he has served for at least 180 days on active duty or active duty orders post-9/11, you can suggest that he sign up for our formal one-on-one Mentoring Program. More information and the application can be found here: http://www.acp-usa.org/mentoring-program/veteran-application
If you would like any additional information on either the "Community" tool or Mentoring Program, please feel free to send me a message. Have a great week!
Best,
Lauren
