Hi Isiah, as a paid performing songwriter/musician in my younger days, I found joining my local songwriter collective a great way to work in my craft and get regular input from other artists. If open mics are an option for you, take advantage of them.
For production / business education :
https://www.coursera.org/specializations/music-production
If you want to see music industry listings:
https://www.taxi.com
There is a nominal fee to join, and will get you daily/weekly listings with examples of what they're looking for along with descriptive requirements/rights/payment.
I hope these suggestions are helpful. Best of luck on your journey to success!
Best regards,
Mary
