I have 2 tractor trailers and seek a dedicated lane transporting goods and merchandise in TEXAS. Also, seek a mechanic to handle my repairs and service to tractor trailers.

For dedicated lane you could try FedEx Ground as suggested. But independent long-haul trucking is competitive and dedicated lanes may be sewed up, so maybe work with brokers and freight forwarders for now, to keep the trucks moving and enhance your reputation.

Hello John,
Respnse to your first interest - have you checked out FEDEX and its owner-operator program?
See: http://customcritical.fedex.com/us/owneroperator/contractwithus/decide.shtml. Based on observations of a former neighbor, it worked well for him. Started with one tractor/trailer and now has five. As he grew, he hired addnl drivers and all work on 'fixed routes' with steady business. Check them out.
With regard to your second part - mechanic; I'm sending a private email with thoughts.

Cordially,

Harry Rakfeldt
