I am broadening my horizons as I transition and would like to gather information in the field of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS). If anyone is available to conduct an informational interview with me I would appreciate it.
Thanks

pharmaceutical companies or any facility that may handle particularly hazardous materials have positions related to environmental health and safety. Facilities that produce nuclear power also hire EHS personnel. Depending on your military service you may already have related experience. The job postings will have education requirements but do not let that discourage you from applying.
Rich,
Don't stop here, check out professional associations in your field of interest. This is a very large field and you want to understand the breadth of the field and where you fit.
You can also check out the professional associations on Linkedin for easy access to professionals and to view others profiles to get a sense of others career tracks.
Thanks for your service and good luck,

Dear Rich,
I am happy to make some time to speak with you. I am a Public Health Professor, and Consultant (which is interdisciplinary with Environmental Health). I might be able to network you folks I have worked with over the years who would be able to help. If you are interested in touching base, please private message me, and we can connect.
Thank you for your service.
All the best,
Dr. Nolt
