What I'm looking for is how to own a multi level marketing business. How do I design and build an infrastructure? Who can I copy and where do I find the details to previous companies? How do I design pay structures and bonus plans? What are my distribution options? How many people do I need before I start open recruitment? Any direction will help, Thank You

Joe,
I agree with Gerald totally. This is a high cost industry and to try to make a success of it with little or no experience is not a good idea. There is a lot to learn and a lot of fun to be had while the meter is running on someone else`s bank account. There are also a lot of parts to this industry, and you may want to gain experience in several of them to see if you want to try to be a full service marketing company or specialize in something like PR or advertising, or graphics design or be a marketing strategy consulting company. In any case, all of those take much experience and the connections that come with the time spent gaining that experience. However, also shop around to see which company has the right culture for you and the right management that you think you can learn from and be nurturing for you. Ambition is great as is the confidence it sounds like you have, but get the grounding first.
Good luck!
Hi Joe,
I've been in a couple of MLM ventures previously. I can tell you that it would be best to start by joining an already established MLM company. This may be the best way to learn all of these pieces of the business. For not much money, you can gain a lot of knowledge.
I hope this helps.
Jerry
Get with a small company, before the explosion. Before they go public. Think about if you had equity with Apple, before they exploded, before they went public. How much would you be worth today.

Steve I agree with you about gaining experience on someone else's bank and about exploring specialized fields. But I still feel at a loss, I would like to start learning what the number one person on the pyramid does to create a business and start recruiting a team in an Mlm manner.
Thank you Gerald, you are right about getting educated by experience. The reason I am so curious about this specific type of marketing is because of the time I spent with Mlm companies. Though my experience was not enough to accomplish my new found goal. Now I am looking for information on the behind the scenes creation of an Mlm which I didn't get by being a partner. Do you have any suggestions as far as legal documents I should know about and or what the step of creating and Mlm are?
