I'm looking to transition in the next two years and have begun posting my resume' to see what kind of feedback I'd get. I'm looking to see if anyone would mind critiquing my resume' and my LinkedIn account to ensure I'm on the right track.

Hi India-
I am retired after a 40 year career in industry where I hired over 100 people. Now I am helping veterans like yourself by helping with their resumes. If you would e-mail me your resume (drjamesfwatson@gmail.com) I would be happy to comment on it. I also recommend the book "Tired of Eating Peanut and Butter Sandwiches? - Tips to Get a Job Fast" available on Amazon. It contains practical advice. Good luck in your search!!

India,
I'd be glad to review your resume and help in anyway that I can. jacksond8@michigan.gov
India,
I think have a linked in account is one of the best tools for networking. But, be careful of having a Twitter account or a Facebook account, because employers will look at those to see who you are personally and this can work against you sometimes. In some employer interviews or when they are checking references, employers might ask you for your password to your Facebook account, implying that, unless they read it, you will go no further in the interview process. Politely say no, and tell them your personal life is just that, and has nothing to do with your qualifications for a job.
Good luck with your job search and work at it as hard as you would any job.

Reach out to me on LinkedIn. Dennis Santare. I have a couple of weeks off from work (for the first time since forever), and I'd be happy to look at your resume.
Alicia I can see your account. I will send my resume' shortly I'm heading home now.
Hi India.
I'd be happy to help you. I am new to ACP and this is my first response - do you have access to my account to send me your resume for review? I am not quite sure how this works just yet!
Warm regards,
Alicia
