Use your strengths by putting yourself in the chair of the interviewer hoping to discover the perfect "fit" for a job opening. If, when you do this, you read your resume and your response is: "Huh?" Then do I did and 1) shorten the resume, 2) rearrange experience chronologically, most recent first, 3) re-state word choices into civilian vocabulary. Finally, your assignment to the Presidential Inauguration is impressive in that you were chosen over hundreds of other qualified individuals. That in itself could eclipse the contributions of many people applying for jobs that you could get. HR people review many resumes when they seek people to hire. They are looking for individuals who can help their company prosper (and it doesn't hurt that their CEO can brag about a new executive who "worked for the President") Be that person on your resume. Good luck.
Hello Gregg,
For Federal employment, USAJobs.com is the place to start, especially since you are targeting a specific geographic area. If you have not already done so, consider creating an account, which will allow you to build and save job searches for Phenix City and the surrounding area. Without an account, you can still search for jobs, you just can't save the search or request email notifications for new job announcements.
Go to https://www.usajobs.gov/Search/AdvancedSearch > click on Locations > enter Phenix then select Phenix City, Alabama > scroll to the bottom of the page and select Yes - I fall into one of these categories. . . > then click Search Jobs.
Here is one current Job Announcement that might be of interest to you: https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/392689800.
Good luck with your search, and thank you for your service to our Country!
Sincerely,

First of all, very impressive resume. Thank you for your service. You've done a lot, so it is hard to narrow down, but I can see a few possibilities here. A) use your logistics expertise in a firm that specializes in corporate building or office moves, or data center moves. B) use your facilities experience in a large company that has those sorts of people and needs people to oversee building renovations, etc. C) use your security ops experience to get a job doing that for a Fortune 500 company. With the size of what you're used to doing, bigger companies, or specialty firms that have big company clients, are probably your target. Which means Atlanta is a more promising area that others in your region, but you never know. Please let me know if I can help.
