I'm a little new to the area, and new to advisor net so I figured I would just throw an introductory question out there and see what happens. I'm a graphic designer who recently relocated down here and am currently job hunting. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

The best start would be to get on LinkedIn and get to know the small and large firms needing graphic designers in your area. What is your particular area of expertise - web design, brochures/print, etc.? Putting your work online is also key so employers can easily see your style and who you've worked for in the past.
