Answers
Vincent, I know you post was from 2012 but wanted to provide some information for this post in case another Veteran finds this post. I wanted to promote that Stanford has an entrepreneur summer program for Veterans to give a crash course in business development. I encourage you to check it out and let me know if I can help you with your application. The deadline is 3 Mar 2016.

James Thank you for your response!!!
Vincent,
To get resources for a Incubator in today’s world is difficult top say the least. Incubators can be structured both as nonprofit and profit entities. On the former, the Economic Development Administration (EDS) at the Dept of Commerce has funded portions of physical incubators. Local nonprofit partnerships can be leveraged to get such grants.
Good sources to research and ask where others are getting their financing is http://www.nbia.org/ Ask a few of their members or go to their conference.
Vincent: SCORE and a good SCORE counselor might be able to provide answers to your original questions, as well as referrals to organizations such as the SBA, angel investors, other non-profits, etc. SCORE can also help you write a business plan for your non-profit. If you have a business plan, pleas provide a link to it. - Tom
Thank you that wasn't my question..I'm already connected to SCORE
go to score.org and request a small business advisor
