Advisor

Ali Hoban New York , NY

ACP AdvisorNet's sister program, the ACP Veteran Mentoring Program, offers post-9/11 vets the opportunity to work one on one with a corporate professional for a yearlong mentorship. Any post- 9/11 vets looking for more personal and targeted help are encouraged to apply.

What our program offers:
A one-on-one, yearlong mentorship with a corporate professional in your chosen career field. We work with more than 50 leading companies, so you could be paired with a Marketing Director from Pepsi, a VP from Wells Fargo or an Engineer from IBM, based on your goals and interests. Just like ACP AdvisorNet, this program is completely free.

What can you work on with your Mentor?
· Building a network of professionals
· Improving your resume and interview skills
· Translating your military experience into civilian terms
· Learning how to advance at your current job

I have been a part of this mentor program for about 10 months now and I'm very happy with my experience. My mentor has answered my questions, set me up with other resources, connected me with other industry personnel, and more!

Hi Ali!

Thanks for the information. I applied before, but did not need the small business mentorship back then. Now, I need help, but could not find the link. Good thing that you post here again. I just applied again. Hopefully, I will receive great advices.
