Recently returning from a deployment and looking to start a new career in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Would like to use my security clearance to get a better job. Any advice in the DFW area would be greatly appreciated.

Craig,
I have a great friend who is currently the executive director for HCC (Honor Courage Commitment) based in Dallas, who specializes in placing returning veterans. email me your resume and I would be happy to put you in contact with him. mike.johnston1221@gmail.com
here is the website:
AT&T to Provide 5,000 Career Opportunities for Veterans
Stepped-Up Recruiting Announced at White House Event. AT&T to Lead New Veteran Talent Exchange Network in Association with 100,000 Jobs Mission Organization
Dallas, Texas, April 30, 2013
AT&T is stepping up its veteran recruiting efforts with the goal of hiring 5,000 veterans and their family members into career opportunities over the next five years, consistent with its commitment to equal employment opportunities.
Craig, send me your email address, I have a friend in the DFW area that may be able to assist you. Also, funny question, do you ride a motorcycle? susanne.scholz@hp.com
have you searched through usajobs.gov? if not, look through the website. secret clearance is difficult to obtain in the private sector, so having one gives you the advantage over others. that does mean, you will get the job though.
also try indeed.com. pretty legit website for jobs.
