I will be separating from active duty AF service to join the reserves in June '14, and I'm in need of a LinkedIn profile and resume review/critique. Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Background info... I have been in logistics for 6.5+ years, and I will be continuing that on working in the reserves a the 36th Aerial Port Squadron at JBLM- McChord Field, WA. The companies I'm mainly looking at are Boeing, Amazon, REI, and Starbucks due to their company culture, benefits, and promotion potential. Since logistics is so huge out there, then I'm working on networking to find out what other businesses would be good options as well. Overall, I'm trying to "keep the blinders off" and absorb as much info/advice as I can.
Thanks in advance!

No need to read any literature, your resume is the key. What you will find is that each HR employee will have certain likes and dislikes. Tailor your resume to the position your seeking.
Sometimes you might have to accept a lower position and than work your way up. The Railroads love prior military because their structure was set up by former Military Officers.

Food and trash are essentially logistics industries. Take a look at Sysco Foods, Republic Services, and Waste Management.

Brian,
First of all, thank you for your service. I would suggest to take a look at Cargill. Your profile looks very good. Feel free to connect with me on linkedin.

Angela, this information is really helpful. I've been getting emails from people that have reviewed my resume, and this appears to be a common theme. With all of the advice I've gotten, it is a big confidence boost as I go to rewrite my resume. I'm starting to feel like I've got a good idea of how it needs to look. Thanks!
Marc, thanks for the insight on railroads and HR perspective. This helps quite a bit

Christine & Chuck, thank you for your advice about what companies to look at. This helps a lot!
