I am looking specifically for something with sustainable architecture, but am passionate enough about the environment to explore many fields in the industry. I have a B Arch and an MS Arch with a focus on Sustainability, I am a LEED accredited professional and I've been looking for over a year with no success.

Brandy, I would suggest that you check into getting a LEED ( Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Their website is http://www.usgbc.org/home
This looks like a very resourceful tool, thank you so much!
Brandy,
Here's one way: http://www.greenpages.org/, in the KEYWORD box put in architect and in the
WHERE, put in USA. Green Pages is a product of Green America - a listing of businesses that have passed scrutiny regarding sustainable practices, products, services, etc. (I've been a member for 12 years now.)
Contact some/all and ask who/what they may know relative to your desire. Another network for you to explore.
Good Luck!
Brandy, I am not sure if you are focused on a particular location but check out careers at URScorp.com. URS is a large engineering and construction company very veteran friendly, there are currently 26 positions open in the company.
Thank you so much, I will definitely look into it.
If you want to work in corporate environmental strategy, almost all large corporations have Environmental, Health and Safety teams and need people. I'd start by going to some of those company's websites.
Also, try www.idealist.org to see if there are any nonprofits that are hiring in the sustainable architecture space.
There are several small design and consulting firms like YRG that are growing and might be hiring: http://www.yrgxyz.com/
Hope that helps!
