I am looking for a more IT friendly resume template. I am looking at more senior IT PM roles. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

Hi Jamell -
It's not about the template. It's about accomplishment statements that tell an employer how your work provided results that were wanted when you took on an assignment. Each statement starts with a verb. Like this:
* Saved [dollars, hours] by [what you did].
* Reduced [loss, accidents, time] by [what you did].
* Supervised [number of people] on [a project].
I agree with the advice that Joy provided. She is exactly right.
I would also suggest that you network at the target company or industry. Use LinkedIn to find people already working there and reach out to them. Ask them the process they used to get hired and ask them to help you navigate the hiring process and if they are willing, ask them to submit you as a referral. These activities require much more time on your part but in my opinion would greatly increase your chances for success. Good luck!
Hi Jamell. I am happy to look at/edit your resume, send it as a word document to sheilamc@berkeley.edu
