I've been a Corporal (E-4) for a little over a year now, and I'll be soon getting promoted to Sergeant. I've been the Section Head for my Maintenance unit, which consists of 11 other marines, for the entire time, and I will continue to do so for the next couple of years, supervising all day to day maintenance activities pertaining to the section. Is there a way I could use this experience in order to pursue PMP certification? I will be graduating with my 4 year degree in December and I'm interested in pursuing this certification to transition into a career in Project Management after the military.

Hi Jesus,
Yes, you can take Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM). That's for people who have less than 5 years of experience. You can find more information at https://www.pmi.org/certifications/types/certified-associate-capm
I suggest taking the test, it help differentiate yourself from the rest of the candidates. Congrats in advance on your upcoming graduation.
