My desire to write and direct stemmed from a hunger to tell stories with three demential elements. As a passionate content creator, I have written myriad of content with the hopes and determination to see each one come to fruition. While watching careers of pioneers like Ava DuVernay, Issa Rae, Tina Fey, Mindy Lin, Mara Broc-Akil and Gina Blythe-wood as well as other phenomenal women has fueled my passion to create content and increase diverse acting roles in the Black community. I have written and produced films ranging from Domestic Violence, Military, and Comedy.

Hi Lashunda,
Thanks for your question. Although I don't personally know any talent agents there are some other ways to get your work noticed.
For example, you can consider submitting your work in a competition. Take a look at the link here for some opportunities happening this year: https://thescriptlab.com/contests-2/10041-the-biggest-screenwriting-competitions-of-2019/
A quick google search should yield a lot of other results.
For example, I found one competition that might interest you after typing in "screenwriting contests California": https://writers.coverfly.com/competitions/view/socalscreenplay
I would also recommend you head over to the "Community" feature on this site and search through some advisors with experience in Arts and Entertainment and message them directly. They might have some useful contacts.
Finally, if you have served on active duty orders for at least 180 days since 9/11 you are eligible for an ACP Mentorship. We may be able to find you a mentor who has some of the contacts you are looking for, or at the very least someone who can coach you on effective networking strategies.
I hope that helps!
Thanks,
Stephen
