I am looking for assistance in restructuring my current resume to reflect the format that investment banks and finance companies look for. If any professional would be able to take a look at my current resume and offer advice, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Christopher,
I would be happy to review your resume format and make suggestions for your consideration. Feel free to send it along to me.
Thanks,
Celeste
Hi Christopher,
Likewise, I'd be happy to help with the resume review and have significant experience in the Finance area, although primarily from an Internet/Web/Marketing perspective. Keep in mind that you'll want a great resume, follow on, research, and interviewing skills. The resume is a very important part of getting an interview, but getting a job requires a thick skin, persistence, researching the organization prior to any interview, correct follow on, enthusiasm, patience, and multiple dry runs of interviews with someone who acts like an interviewer (read that as not likely your family, close friends, or spouse in most cases) In most cases the pink scented resume in Legally Blonde is not going to be appropriate. :-) If you don't already have a job, take the first one that's offered and keep looking for the right job. Seeing you're from Staten Island, I hope you and your family were not negatively impacted by Sandy.
Best regards,
George
While I am a marketing person, I think I could help with the preparation. Most Human Resource people or managers looking for employees go through a screening process to eliminate those they do not believe are qualified to handle the position. It is important that you avoid pitfalls that place you in that category, so that you can move on in the process. Spelling and grammatical errors disqualify applicants, so make sure words are spelled properly and sentences are grammatically correct. It is imperative that you sell yourself. Education, experience and family circumstances are all key areas that should be addressed. To sell and distinguish yourself, after your personal information, start selling by listing the qualities, characteristics, education, accomplishments or experience that you feel is your primary asset. Cut down on job duties, avoid repeating yourself, edit unnecessary words and customize your resume for the job you are applying for.

I would be happy to look. I have experience in all of the above. Please send it along.
