Workforce Snohomish and its partners have established a veterans service center in Everett, Washington. The "Serve Center" provides assistance of a wide variety of funcitons for military personnel about to leave active duty, veterans, and their families in Snohomish County, Washington. The predominate activity requested of the Serve Center is "employment assistance" - getting a resume prepared, assistance in job search activities, preparing for interviews, researching self-employment opportunities or starting a new business, and other similar private sector employment questions.
My question to ACP AdvisorNet is can what you are doing for a country-wide audience be tailored for a local market? What I am thinking is to be able to set up the service in our Serve Center and focus its efforts on the local population we serve.
