I have a large PDF file of a brochure for my business that I'd like to have printed by Vista Print. I compressed it, but it is still not small enough. Does anyone know how I can compress it below 10MB? I can't even email it to myself. It's too large (188MB).

The other alternative is to put the file on a Flash Drive and take it to the printer. The printer should have the software and the means to fix any issues. Make sure they give you a proof before the print your order so you can take a look and make sure it is what you want.
If you can get access to the Adobe Illustrator program, you can open up the PDF and then export it as a much smaller file.

Its possible to get a lot of savings in file size by re-inserting photos at a lower resolution. Often times, photos are inserted at their maximum size and for most print needs that is really unnecessary.
Additionally, when moving around large files and then even providing links for people to see them, try DropBox.

You can sign up for a Media Fire account. A basic account costs $10 or so per month. Once you move the data you can cancel of suspend the account until you need it again.

I have used it to send a 12 gig movie file that was way to big to be e-mailed by any system. You just move the file into a folder then share that folder with the other person
Also a company that I advise has a 12 page high level business plan and a detailed 30 page plan. They won 2 business plan competitions and $75k which helped them get started.
The slides are only 7 pages. It has more pictures than literature. How do I fix this?

I can't help with Vista Print, but I may be able to help with your basic problem.
The day of the mega business plan is over. No one has time to read a 10MB brochure!
You must hone your story to 20 pages (slides). If you give too much it will go unread and you will have wasted your resources.
