Resume review?

Veteran

Jane Devenport Los Angeles , CA

I guess I might need a new format for my resume. Recently a friend helped me revise my resume but I now have an additional job which makes the resume more than one page. Any comments or reviews would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

One helpful hint is to not use a Microsoft Word template to do your resume. Some of the companies will use Resume Filtering Software which will kick your resume out.

Hi Jane-

I'm a recruiter at General Mills, and would be more than happy to take a look at your resume as well. Feel free to email it to me: laurissa.gauvitte@genmills.com.

Best,

Some of the best advice I've received has come via Career Tools Podcasts. Even the stuff that is 6 or 7 years old is great information. I recently attended a hiring fair/transition siminar and got some very positive responses about how well my resume was formatted.

Thank you William! I am new to ACP so I am not sure if I can upload it somewhere or if I can email it directly to you. Please let me know the best way to get it to you.
