Starting a new career in Analytics and would like advise on writing a resume with little to no background experience in new career.

Hi Michele,
The others gave great advice regarding updating your LinkedIn profile.
In regards to your resume, you should consider focusing and highlighting your knowledge and education in analytics. Consider adding not just your education, but also any projects and coursework you completed. You could add this to your work profile allowing you demonstrate experience in the field.
Warm regards,
Jerry
Michele I was not able to find your LinkedIn profile, to see what your back ground and education is. Most business positions, with limited experience will be requiring a Bachelor degree. I would conduct some informational interviews in your new chosen career field to get a feel for the language and metrics used to determine success in Analytics. You might be surprised at some of the accomplishments you currently have under your career that include those same skills sets. Here are a couple of articles that may help.

Michele,
I agree with Jerry on creating a LinkedIn profile. Here is my LinkedIn profile https://www.linkedin.com/in/lukangwill
Are you taking an class on Analytic? Is your interest data science?
Hello. Take a few courses and workshops and add them to your resume
Yes, I do have a Linkedin profile. I earned a Masters in Analytics so I will be pursuing a career in Analytics. However, this is a change from my previous career path in Management Computer Information systems. I do see a few skills that I can bring over into my new career so I am using those to build my resume. Thanks for the articles. I will check them out!
