ACP is a great resource and I currently have an ACP mentor.

Another great resource that you can manually search for your personalized keywords is Veterati. I have used them in the past and they are good.

Word of warning though, since you're doing the searching and there is not someone to match you directly to a tailored mentor, you may have a phone call with several mentors before you find one you can really connect with.

Good luck!

Hi Mark and thank you for your service.

While looking for a mentor through ACP is great please don't forget there are non-profit organizations who have corporate partner members either on their boards or as active members. These persons will come from a wide variety of backgrounds and so there's much potential for networking and mentoring through these types of connections as well.

Lastly, the advice I've received recently is to develop a 'board' of mentors so that you receive a range of opportunities, while being ready at the same time to offer opportunities to your mentors as well.
