Shawn, let me know if you are still exploring. I've helped a couple of guys find good jobs through having a really tight resume and some easy advice. I've been a senior manager in financial services for 30+ years-none of my ACP guys were financial guys. They were logistics and staff officers. More than willing to help. Just reach out. Thanks for your service, it's appreciated.

I’d suggest that you network at the target company or industry. Use LinkedIn to find people already working there and reach out to them. Ask them the process they used to get hired and ask them to help you navigate the hiring process and if they are willing, ask them to submit you as a referral. These activities require much more time on your part but in my opinion would greatly increase your chances for success. Good luck!
Shawn, In the day of remote working, zoom calls, and Skype, the time has probably never been easier. If you want to send me your information, I would be happy to look and make some recommendations on companies you should consider. My email address is dawn.metzler@canselect.us, Also, include what states you are considering relocation to. Thank you for your sacrifice; anything I can do to help you, I will try. Dawn
