Hello Sterlin,

That is a fantastic question. Federal resumes are both similar and very different from private sector resumes. While both want keywords and listed duties relevant to the position you are applying for, a federal resume has much more detail to it. Private-sector resumes are typically only one page. Federal resumes should be very detailed, describing all your duties and responsibilities. Adding quantitative data to a federal resume is highly encouraged as well. I have seen Federal resumes that are three to nine pages long.
