Prudential offers career opportunities in wealth management. I'm looking for assessments of Prudential's program for Financial Professional Associates. Also, comparison of Prudential to similar programs (i.e. Northwestern Mutual Life). Thank you! - Mike Pierce USAF Ret.

Scott,
I appreciate your insight. Your assessment matches my impression. I enjoy marketing and sales so that fits my skills. My goal is to develop my own business with a flexible schedule as well as mitigate large corporate influence into my daily routine and lifetime employment. The interview promises matched my goals so I hope this is the reality. Do you have any thoughts after 17 years?
Thanks!
- Mike
I've worked in this field for 17 years since leaving the service. While I'm not familiar with the specifics of either program, I can say that you should expect your primary role at first to be marketing & them sales. I went into the field with a different set of expectations, and it led to a frustrating start. But if you are a good marketer & salesman, it can be a great field. Good luck!

I am not an expert in this field. However, I will say they are highly credible, and I believe offer a good product.
Fidelity has comparable programs, and I must say I am impressed with the level of expertise, and equally have found their personnel to be highly credible, and in my mind, I have found them to work for my benefit. I have an excellent relationship with my current advisor, and would see what i could do to help you with them.
