I would like to pursue a career in healthcare management. I hold a Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration. I am planning to start an MPH in policy. Any information provided will be gladly appreciated.

The supply chain industry in the healthcare market has changed into a highly sophisticated profession. With that said, consolidation of facilities has also reduced the market. Many places may want to see actual medical experience at a level outside the storeroom. You may look at other managerial areas in healthcare, to obtain a foot hold. I am assuming the MPH is Masters in Public Health? Watch how narrow you get, especially as healthcare changes. Hospitals now prefer MBA's over MHA's, which were healthcare administration. The VA is always looking for veterans, and goodness knows the VHA needs good people. Your MPH would apply there also. Good luck hope I offered some different approaches.
Central Supply and Distribution is a crucial part of hospital operations; especially Surgery and Emergency Departments. Might I suggest you find a friend who works in a local hospital for connections to try a shadowing experience with the Central Supply leadership, to see if your skills/experience match what they do?
Thanks for going above and beyond in providing me with clarifications. Have a wonderful week.
