I recently separated from the Marine Corps, I was an Infantry man so I have little to go on in the real world applications, I'm looking for jobs that pay well, but willing to work around a full time schedule in San Diego, does anybody have any ideas on where to look or have any tips.

Are you using the GI Bill? Have you considered the VA work study program ?
It worked great my buddy who got out, went to school full-time, and needed to work while he was going through a divorce. He got paid minimum wage, but it was untaxed.
Anthony,
If I am understanding that you are full time student...do you receive a PELL grant. If you do then you can find employment through your college. I was able to work a government state job because I was a veteran. I worked at the State Employment Office and I was in charge of the (new then) and I found my first management job while I was helping others search for theirs. Just an idea, but I make 6 figures and it started with getting my foot in the door.
Anthony, Thank you for your service. I agree with both comments and add that you may check out both Sharp and Scripps clinics. They have physical therapy locations all over the county. I would also recommend that you search on the INDEED website. Finally, the Veterans Administration employment placement office at MCAS Miramar is another great resource.
Anthony: To Drew's point, since you are attending school for Physical Therapy, have you thought of inquiring with local hospitals for opportunities? Since they are a 24-7 operation they offer a variety of shifts and an opportunity to make connections/job opportunities upon graduation.
Anthony: my recommendation would be to start with your interests. If you're studying physical therapy then there may some opportunities in and around that field, and there may be some info from your school about what those might be. For example, have you thought about working at a gym? What about with some school sports teams?
Don't discount your time in the Marine Corps though. Traits people expect from Marines (leadership, discipline, problem-solving skills, etc.) are often traits people do not expect from young college students and you can leverage your experience. To us, the infantry is a bunch of stuff that maybe does not apply to a civilian job (shooting, marching, digging, etc.) but what matters is how civilian employers view your experience. I have to tell you that most just find the Marine Corps impressive.
