A colleague and I are brainstorming ideas about a Veteran's group at our firm. The main purpose would be to connect Veterans, help Veterans transition to the corporate world, and to promote advocacy and support of Veterans through partnering with other Veterans groups (such as ACP, Wounded Warrior project, Toys for Tots... etc).
We are definitely grass roots at the moment. Any and all ideas are welcome and appreciated.

Sgt Suh,
I'd be really interested in connecting with you and comparing notes; the company I work for just started a Veterans Support Network and we're in the middle of developing ways to support veterans/active military/military families, recognize service, provide transition support, etc. It definitely sounds like we're at the same the same stage of development as you and your colleague.
If you're interested in comparing ideas, please send me a message and we can go from there. Thanks!

Bank of America has Employee Networks - and one of them is the Military Support Group that works with Wounded Warriors, and Operation Gratitude.
Another way to get started is to work directly in your community. Look for local 501c3 organizations, USO, WWP, etc. who you could partner with existing programs. This could come in the form of financial donations, in-kind product, or volunteer hours.
