Transitioning Soldier seeking Resume Advice

Veteran

LaVincent Harris Boerne , TX

Good afternoon,
I'd like to start off by first thanking those who take the time to provide assistance to us veterans. We may not say it often, but we are grateful and appreciate even the tiniest bit of help that is offered.

I'm in the process of retiring from the Army and currently looking for employment. I served as a Medical Laboratory Technician, but just finished my M.B.A. in Human Resource Management, which is the field I'm hoping to work for. As an NCO, there are many task that we take on that correlate to the work performed in HR, but I'm having a hard time with putting that information down on paper. If someone is willing to take a look at my resume and give me general recommendations on things I can do to improve it, I would greatly appreciate it. Again, thank you all for your help and have a blessedly wonderful day!

Thank you all for your willingness to help. I've already received some feedback from Mr. Malik, but if it's ok with you I will send each of you a copy for your advice.

Hi Vince,

Thank you for your service and congratulations on retiring from the Army and also on obtaining your MBA in HR! It looks like you have two other very capable advisors offering their assistance, but just in case you want another set of eyes, I'd be happy to help! I have been working in HR for 10 years and have a Master's degree in HR/Employment Relations. My husband served in the Army for 13 years, so I have some experience tranferring "Army speak" into skills that civilian employers will understand. You're welcome to email me at: Stephanie.Arnold23@gmail.com.

Hi Vince,
I retired as a CWO in 1999 and have been in executive-level operations with both government and civilian companies since retiring. I'd be more than happy to review your resume if you'd send it to me at: kevin.bock@piksel.com.
Thanks for your service!
