About Colleen
I work at American Corporate Partners, and am married to a proud Army veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2008-2009. We were stationed at Fort Riley, KS for most of Steve's time in service, with brief stints in Ft. Sill, OK and Ft. Knox, KY.
At ACP, I work closely with our Founder, CEO and leadership team to run the day-to-day operations of our 40+ person nonprofit organization, including functions such as technology, corporate and foundation relations, staffing, program management, veteran outreach and marketing.
Prior to joining ACP in 2010, I worked as a copy editor at a publishing company in New York, and then as a college writing instructor at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. My areas of expertise include writing & editing, project management, grant writing, and strategic planning.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a Master’s Degree in English.
Outside of work, I live on Long Island and I’m a mom of two boys. I enjoy long distance running (have run 4 marathons and more than 15 half marathons!)
