About Joshuah

Hi, I am a Veteran, a former employee of ACP's, and a current Career Coach for a Workforce Development Program housed under the Parks Department. In my role, I work with poor, homeless, and other marginalized populations to assist them in finding full-time work, while they participate in a six month internship cleaning and greening the city's parks, beaches, and playgrounds. Prior to this role, I worked 8 years in the Non-Profit Sector and have served on both Active Duty and in the National Guard. I'm happy to speak with anyone interested in local government, Non-Profit, or anyone with general questions about their transition and the soft skills that will help them be successful in their next career.
