What’s the best way to find a legal mentor in the legal field? I have a Paralegal Degree, I do not have a paralegal certificate, and my education is over ten years old. I would like to work towards becoming a family law paralegal, but most law firms want two years experience, I only have one year experience as an intern. I’ve volunteered with Legal Aid as an intake, but I’m struggling to get my foot in any door.
