Quite a few junior military officers spend a portion of their career on an operations staff. Depending on the location and type of military unit, that can translate into a large body of project material ranging from timeline development and executive presentations to extensive written material. The challenge is that all, or a large majority, of that material is very military exclusive content and language. I'd like to hear how some of the Advisors would present that experience to a media/publishing employer.

Good Morning John from Maryland!
As a writer, editor and author, I say ... good writing is good writing. Whether you're writing words pertaining to the military or otherwise, good content still must include good grammar usage, tightened copy, zero typos, good presentation of the topic, and professionally presented copy. Not everyone can write! It is a honed talent.
I would think you could take writing talent 'on the road' into non-military media, whatever that may be for you. What are you specifically interested in pursuing?
