The NY Stock Exchange has a Veteran Associate Program going on this summer - and it looks like it's for former NCOs only. You'd have to move fast - it looks like it starts in just a couple weeks! Check it out: http://www.nyx.com/who-we-are/advocacy/veterans/associate-program
You can contact Four Block which provides professional development to student-veterans and connect them with internship opportunities at corporations. Our mission is to provide opportunities for student-veterans to obtain the relevant industry experience they need to secure employment and begin new careers upon graduation. The large firms' investment banking internships (most of which are in NYC) are almost certainly already filled. I would check with the local offices in your area as internship positions are also offerred at the branch office level.
I am an incoming NYSE Euronext Summer Veteran Associate in NYSE Regulation. Please feel free to ask me any questions but NYSE has already closed their applications. Goldman Sachs has the Veterans Integration Program (VIP) and BAML has a Veteran Associate program in Global Banking and Markets, however both are already filled for this summer.
I do not know of any specific opportunites, but I would try UBS, Morgan Stanley, other major banks, CPA firms, commodity houses and stock brokerage houses. I think they are your best bet. Some of the Fortune 500 companies would also be a good area to check.
