I am looking for opportunities to connect with veteran networks in the financial sector. Transitioning from a 24 year active duty career. Have a BBA in Finance and am a CFA Level I candidate. Interested in equities/fixed income trading, prime brokerage, or wealth / asset management. Have made a recent trip to New York for informational interviews with Citi and BoA/ML (from veteran contacts made at VOWS). Seeking any other companies to broaden my perspective of the industry and open potential employment opportunities.
Thanks in advance!

Hello Michael,
You can also take a look at Morgan Stanley and AG Edwards. Morgan Stanley has a strong presence/HQ in New York City and has an employee veteran's network. They also have a presence in Baltimore Maryland so you may want to look up job posting in that area. AG Edwards also actively recruits veteran's as well.
Best of luck and thank for your service sir. Congrats on your tenor being a career Army.

I am with Mass Mutual Financial Group and am a disabled Army Veteran myself. Just shoot me an email and I can connect you to one of our offices and get an interview or connect from within NAFIA network as well.

Thanks Accursio and Cliff! I appreciate your insights and recommendations. I will be sure to look into all to see what opportunities may exist for me.
Hi Michael, I'm also a Sullivan, (visited Ireland three years ago very nice) and a Veteran.
You are in a great place for financial counseling. Why not contact your nearby SCORE Chapter, www.score.org, they've got a lot of contacts and may have some suggestions.
My financial counselor, is with Intervest, (a former banker). I could connect you with him if you want. He is specializing in helping HOA's to invest their deposits. I like to mention NAVOBA,
National Veteran Owned Business Association, www.navoba.com. Membership is $29 per year and you get their magazine, "Vetrepreneur" which has many stories about Vets transitioning.
