Military to Civilian Transition

James Altucher runs a blog over at jamesaltucher.com. I came across this very same article about a year ago and re-read it this morning. Chock-full of good stuff, I'm passing it along to current and about-to-transition vets, especially the latter. Transitioning is, often, about reinventing yourself. You've known a life (the military) for X number of years and have to find a new one. Maybe, like me, you've found it in the Federal government, doing something close to what you were doing before. If so, great. But, you could also, like me, have been doing something completely different, like when I was flirting with the idea of being a high school teacher before I, wisely, got into IT over 15 years ago.
