I would have to agree with Angela, you may already be qualified for this positon. I would focus on using your resume as a tool to point out what experiences you have that would make you valuable as a PM.

Planning, Budget, Schedule, Estimating.

Another thing, Call Centers are a good place to get your foot in the door, and prove that you have the right skill set to move into a more technical role.

To get any job that requires experience when I have none has always meant for my career to start at the very bottom. That is, an internship is fairly easy to get, and although it pays next to nothing, the demands are also fairly low, and you get to see professionals in action for a year as you finish your studies. You can count an Internship as Experience; then you're in.

If you can get into a technical field such as development and then move into that from your experience, that may help.

Moving into and staying in a position that demands, values and grows PM related experience is challenging. Depending on your specialty, you may have to choose, volunteer or innovate your way into noted experience within your network. Outside of paid work, you can also work for a non-profit,church or social organizations volunteering in a PM capacity. I have done this to help me with my "giveback" for my certification.
