Lee, depending on your MOS, your background and experiences may be valuable in manufacturing, transportation/trucking, and insurance (planning responses to disasters), to name a few. I'd start by drawing up two lists - what are the things you're good at, and what are the things you enjoy doing. Items which appear on both lists should lead you to types of jobs to pursue. Then, decide what is more important - where you live or what you do. Once you answer those questions, then you can start targeting your job research. Start going to job fairs now, attend virtual career fairs, etc, so you can start getting some idea of what's out there, and how to focus your search to find what you want. Companies won't really be interested in you until you're 3-4 months from ETS, but you can use the time from now to then to do your research and figure out your answers to these questions. Good luck.

Supply Management sounds like a good fit for your background. Structure your resume to fit in this career.

I have a lot of familiarity with the supply chain process within pharmaceutical but many of the concepts apply to any manufacturer. There is a workflow to bring raw goods in and then distribute out the finished goods. One of the roles in a Planner. Some information is here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manufacturing_resource_planning
If this bears any resemblence to what you mean by Logistics you might have suitable skills.
