Hi Matt!

I would look into Toastmasters International. It is an amazing resource with supportive members who are there to encourage and support your public speaking goals.

Yes, I highly recommend Toastmasters. Find a local chapter and jump in! Low cost, and it will push you out of your comfort zone. Plus, there is a leadership development track in Toastmasters as well.

I agree with Phylena - Toastmasters is a great organization and the fees are nominal.

I think the Dale Carnegie course is worth while. I enjoyed it very much and think it is helpful with public speaking and interacting with others.

Good morning Matt,
And thank you for your many years of service.
I echo Ms. Houde's recommendation for Toastmaster's. I've had many of my MBA students at Kellogg participate in their local Toastmaster chapters with significant results. It's a great place to learn more about become a strong speaker and to practice public speaking with others. It's also pretty low cost. Good luck!
